NYC Ukraine Charity Fundraiser Recap

NYC Ukraine Charity Fundraiser Recap

Last week, we were one of the sponsors of the Ukraine Fundraiser, where we gathered with friends and companions to talk about the effects of the war, and how far support goes, and how much more support the Ukrainian people could use.

We heard from different speakers, including a keynote from speaker Dr. Rajan Menon, a video message from Dr. Ulana Suprun, former Minister of Health of Ukraine, and an overview of HUOP programs from our volunteers who will share their firsthand experiences helping Ukrainians in need.

We heard first hand how the donations and direct relief are helping those in need. So far, more than 450,000 Ukrainians have been helped by our efforts and we have delivered more than $3.5 million in humanitarian and medical assistance. As the war continues, HUOP adapts to the changing needs and is focusing its efforts on helping veterans and their families with medical treatment, rehabilitation, psychological counseling, & employment & job skills.

We continue our work to assist Ukrainians suffering from PTSD and the effects of trauma, as well as providing medical care and needed medicines to those in need. This fundraiser helps HUOP to provide care & treatment to reinforce the resilience of the Ukrainian people.

Our, and your help doesn’t stop there. In addition to direct action, you can help support Ukraine through some of our merchandise. We re-imagined a capsule of flea vintage items by commissioning an artist to design and paint exclusive artwork with a dedication to Ukraine on them. We also partnered with a streetwear artist, who created original, exclusive Ukraine-inspired graffiti art on 20+ upcycled shirts. We will donate 100% of the sales to this non-profit.

Be sure to help the fight through donations if you can, either through the fundraiser link or through HUOP, which can be found here: https://helpukraine22.org/
